As our longest-running fundraiser, the Piggy Bank Appeal brings the Victorian community together to raise funds for very special children with life-limiting conditions.
Our iconic pink piggy banks are popping up across Victoria to bring our community together to support seriously ill kids and their families.
Children like one year old Sophia, who was born with a rare genetic condition affecting the communication between her nerves and muscles. At just four months old, Sophia’s airway collapsed and she required a tracheostomy to breathe.
Sophia now requires 24/7 care, equipment and trained carers day and night. Her days are filled with therapy, hospital appointments and routines that most families never need to consider. To read more of Sophia’s story click here.
