Want to fundraise while doing something active? Then you should join Team Very Special Kids!
By taking part in a fun run, cycling or other active event, you can fundraise for Very Special Kids and improve your health and fitness. We will support you with your fundraising, and you can participate knowing you have a whole team cheering you on.
If you raise over $200, we’ll even send you a Team Very Special Kids top to wear at the event.
Frankston Running Festival
Sun 16 November
Starting at Frankston Waterfront runners will enjoy a traffic-free experience along the Nepean Highway with the unmissable and stunning backdrop of Port Phillip Bay – with 15km, 10km, 5km and 1km kids race to tackle.
Mornington Running Festival
Sun 3 May 2026
Get in nice and early and start your training for this unmissable run along the Mornington Peninsula esplanade. There are a variety of running and walking events to suit all ages and fitness levels, including a half-marathon length!
Great Ocean Road Running Festival
Sat 16 to Sun 17 May 2026
Run the iconic Great Ocean Road, one of Australia’s most scenic and sought-after courses. With distances from a 1.5km ‘Kids Gallop’ through to the 60km Ultra Marathon, this exclusive event offers uninterrupted coastal views and a truly unforgettable experience.

24-Hour Treadmill Challenge
Keep the treadmills in motion for 24 hours with your friends and/or work colleagues.
For every minute you spend on the treadmill and every dollar you raise, you’re helping children with a life-limiting condition and their families receive free respite and paediatric palliative care.
