Join an active event

Want to fundraise while doing something active? Then you should join Team Very Special Kids!

 

By taking part in a fun run, cycling or other active event, you can fundraise for Very Special Kids and improve your health and fitness. We will support you with your fundraising, and you can participate knowing you have a whole team cheering you on.

 

If you raise over $200, we’ll even send you a Team Very Special Kids top to wear at the event.

ASICS Gold Coast Marathon

Set against the Gold Coast’s sparkling surf beaches, the iconic ASICS Gold Coast Marathon delivers a flat, fast and scenic course. With eight races from the 2km Junior Dash to the 63.3km Gold Coast Double, it promises unforgettable winter running.

Nike Melbourne Marathon Festival

Sat 10 to Sun 11 October

 

Experience one of Australia’s most iconic running events through the heart of Melbourne. With multiple distances from a 3km walk to the full marathon, runners enjoy scenic city streets, lively crowds and a memorable finish inside the MCG.

United Energy Around the Bay

Sun 17 October

 

Ride Melbourne’s iconic Around the Bay event and take in the best of Port Phillip Bay. Featuring a range of course options, cyclists enjoy scenic coastal roads, a vibrant atmosphere and the choice to ride part, or all, of this bucket-list course.

Our very special active events

24-Hour Treadmill Challenge

Keep the treadmills in motion for 24 hours with your friends and/or work colleagues.

For every minute you spend on the treadmill and every dollar you raise, you’re helping children with a life-limiting condition and their families receive free respite and paediatric palliative care.
