Enjoy a fantastic day on the greens at the picturesque Kooringal Golf Club in Altona. This 18‑hole Ambrose‑format Charity Golf Day brings together community spirit, friendly competition, and a wonderful networking opportunity.

 

The day kicks off with a putting competition, followed by fun on-course challenges. Team prizes await the top three groups, with a great selection of golf‑themed rewards up for grabs. After the round, enjoy a delicious two‑course seated lunch in the Club Restaurant, complete with raffles and auctions to keep the excitement going.

About the event

The 24-Hour Treadmill Challenge is a one-of-a-kind event that is not to be missed.

 

You can help keep the treadmills moving for 24 hours to enable us to provide 24-hour care for children with life-limiting conditions. By jumping on a treadmill and raising funds, you can help provide specialist paediatric palliative care at Very Special Kids House, Victoria’s only children’s hospice.

 

When the treadmills start whirring and the music starts pumping, it’s time to run, jog or walk for at least 30 minutes, helping to raise $900,000 for the children, young people and families in our care. The funds you raise can help ensure that every child or young person with life-limiting conditions and their families are supported every step of their journey, through life, death and bereavement.

 

Every minute on the treadmill and every dollar you raise makes a real difference. Register as an individual or join a team and get ready to raise more than a sweat!

We are excited to announce that on Tuesday 16 September, A Very Special Day – our fun, exciting and impactful annual matched giving day – is returning!

 

That’s double the impact and double the care for children with life-limiting conditions and their families. But remember, it’s for 24 hours only!

  • Help spread the word – Share our communications with your networks – friends, family, neighbours, members of your community groups
