Sarah’s fundraising challenge

A young woman is standing outdoors, she is wearing running clothes and is showing a medal around her neck while smiling at the camera. There are other runners and spectators in the background.

Last month, Team Very Special Kids member, Sarah, braved the cold weather to take on the Great Ocean Road Running Festival, raising more than $1,300 for Very Special Kids. Reflecting on the big day Sarah shares:

“The run on Sunday was an incredible experience. Not only did I get to challenge myself physically, but knowing that every step I took was helping children and families in need made it even more meaningful. It was a beautiful day, and the support from fellow runners and the community was overwhelming.

“I’m grateful for the opportunity to fundraise for Very Special Kids. Their work in providing essential care and support to children with life-limiting conditions and their families is truly remarkable. It’s an organisation that holds a special place in my heart, and I’m glad that I could contribute to their cause.

“I hope to continue making a difference and supporting causes that are dear to me. Let’s keep spreading positivity and making the world a better place together.”
