Camp for teenage siblings
February 5, 2015

Very Special Kids Adolescent Camps offer a unique opportunity for young people to connect with other siblings who have had shared experiences.
This year’s Adolescent Weekend will be held from 20 to 22 March, for adolescent siblings (both bereaved and non-bereaved) up to the age of 20. This year we are returning to The Summit campsite in Gippsland where there is something for everyone to enjoy.
Reece is an adolescent sibling who attends camp regularly and said that they are a life changing experience.
“VSK camps are ones that you won’t forget. You meet new friends and learn things about yourself that you never knew. The camp itself consists of many fun activities that work on team building, commitment and confidence, and through these you will realise your true potential.
“It is a place where no matter who you are, or what you like, you have the ability to just be yourself, and be accepted for that. Overall, if you go on the Very Special Kids camps, you are guaranteed to learn about who you truly are, to meet new friends and best of all, to have an experience you’ll remember for the rest of your life,” he said.
Whether you’re a regular attendee, or a graduate of the sibling program contemplating your first Adolescent Camp, we’d love to have you along. More information will be sent out to families in the coming weeks.
