Volunteer wins community award

Congratulations to Jenny Fast, one of our very special volunteers, for winning the City of Stonnington’s Citizen of the Year Award in the Community Service category.

Jenny has been volunteering with Very Special Kids for almost 20 years, since joining as a Family Support Volunteer in 1995. She is part of the Royal Children’s Hospital Visiting Program and visits Very Special Kids families in the hospital to provide emotional and practical support.

Jenny also volunteers with the fundraising team at annual fundraising events such as the Fair. Well done to Jenny for winning this award and for her enormous amount of energy, passion and time that goes into supporting Very Special Kids and the community.
